The aim of this group (JDRG) is to better understand this group of rare conditions called Idiopathic Inflammatory Myopathies (IIM), which includes JDM. JDRG aims to collect information and samples on a large number of children and young people, to learn more about the condition, for example how to treat them better, to understand who will respond best to which type of treatment, and to eventually discover the causes of the disease.
