Abatacept for refractory idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (adults and children aged 2 years and over)

NHS England has approved the use of Abatacept for children, adolescents and adults with refractory idiopathic inflammatory myopathies for patients aged 2 years and over who have failed to respond satisfactory or developed side-effects to glucocorticoids, two conventional treatments and Rituximab (if indicated).
