We are pleased to report that Lucy Marshall recently won 2nd prize for the PhD Scholar presentation at the Versus Arthritis Fellows Meeting held on 21st April 2021.
The Versus Arthritis Fellows Meeting is an annual event where directly funded research students and fellows have an opportunity to connect and present their research. Lucy’s main object in participating in the meeting was to make her research more accessible.
The platform allowed Lucy to present the main body of her PhD work, letting the diverse Versus Arthritis group, inclusive of patient representatives and partners, know what she has been working on in the last few years. The title of her presentation was Novel Mechanistic Insights into the role of T cells in the pathogenesis of Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM). Congrats Lucy!
